Went to a local car meet.
Loads of Vdubs and Fords. Couple of fast mk2 escorts.
Sorry. Photos are crap.
Weirdly I was the only Marina there.

Just surveyed the damage I did getting the car in the garage last night. The 'Plough' lives up to its name.

It must have caught on the metal groove the doors run in and it's broken and dragged the concrete!

What I should have done is gone to the show at Woburn Abbey, what I did was work on the Pickup as there was no petrol getting through. Started at the back, clean as a whistle worked my way forward to the fuel mechanical fuel pump, no fuel being pumped. Turns out the diaphragm was split.
Must be just about the engine part that I don't have a spare for.
Can't decide whether to fit a new one or convert to electric pump like the Coupe.

Removed the starter motor from the 1.3 as it's packed up.
Anybody know a source of decent lucas M35j inertia ones?

Your local motor factor could probably help with a recon one as they were used on so many different cars.

I've a brand new bendix for a 1.3 if its any good?

went on a road run yesterday around Lincolnshire wolds
took this pic overlooking the yellow rape seed field for nice pic
Went to thoresby hall car show today with black ital.

a great day a good variety of cars
I was the only ital there so got lots of people commenting that hadn't seen an ital for years
and also got that classic saying'my dad had one of those'
