We have had literally dozens today all with different ID’s.
I check the forum many times a day so most posts don’t even get seen.
Commenting on these posts is unnecessary. They will get sorted despite me being on holiday currently. Thank you.

Thanks everyone who keeps the forum tidy. Only saw a few of these that were reported: didn’t pick up on any more.

Well done Phil and the other Mods. As a suggestion from past experience, share the effort between you. When I was the sole Moderator, it all got too much for me, it took too many hours in the day.

I don't know if a 'bot' is generating all this spam with random IDs but Monday May 14th seems to be when 'it' joined the forum, but from my end looking at lists of members I can't see how to narrow the field by looking for a join date. Not without searching through every single member.

Is it just on FMM or has it invaded the host phpBB system and hitting other forums. Might be worth asking.

If necessary close down new member applications until it’s sorted. Put up a message on a public page telling everyone why, saves pi**ing off potential real new members.
