The car need 2 rr arches and a pair of sills. oh! and the small matter of an engine and box although i don't know if i'll keep it due to room and finances etc.. Billy was just to late in saving it from the hands of you know who. will get some pics for you to get a look at.

Rare color for a Mk1 coupe Ray. If you decided against it you would prob find someone that would save it.

had a really good look over the coupe today and the repair list as is follows.

1. 2 sills
2. 2 rr arches
3. 2 front floorpans
4. 2 rr floorpans
5. engine & gearbox
6. extensive welding to both chassis legs.
7. 2 rr springhangers.

all the floor has been patched and not very well. the rr has had patches just welded onto the sills and it covers part of the quartes so they would need to be changed.

:( had a good look.....its rotten. patches all over the place and not very good ones at that...rear spring hangars have been "welded" what a mess.shame really cos from the outside it looks not too bad.....until you get closer. another one bites the dust unless some really brave person with miles of welding wire and a good angle grinder wants to throw money at it. :(

i know the panels are available i,ve got the majority of them there. But the price of these panels whether thay be on ebay or from another source are ridiculous. £100 for a pair of arches ? i don't think so.

Besides ive got the panels as spares for the coupe and also a set for the saloon, so no more cars for me. nice new frint wings on the citron though.

I've got a nice set of hand made rear arches that are like genuine ones! Less than £50 each! BARGAIN!
