Fast Marina Magazine

Had a good day out yesterday at POL, with over 500 cars attending. Almost everything from the BL stable being represented. Lots of Metros, including a interesting 6R4 replica fitted with a T series 2.0 Turbo engine in the back claimed capable of making 500BHP Rover R8's and Rover 75's including a few of the rear drive V8 Versions, some Nice SD1's with even a few Dutch and German reg cars attending. Four Marina's attending in Saloon Coupe and Estate also a very original if not immaculate Ital HLS in Zercon Blue. Only saw one Meastro and Princess. Even a SV8 Coupe No examples of Montego, Ambassador being represented. A few Allegro's including a very nice early SS in Lagoon Blue and a late Estate in Snapdragon. Met a Few other of the Marina owners and a couple of lads who worked on the Marina production line. M5 roadworks going down were bad so came home cross country via Kidderminster and Bridgnorth was a much nicer drive.

I was going on the numbers on the card of the bloke taking your. picture I arrived about 11.30 was number 396
