Hi team

Sorry to ask something that may be a very simple question. I have bought an engine from a New Zealand Morris Marina. It is a 1275cc a+ engine and I am having a lot of difficulty finding and oil filter to fit it.

Can someone please tell me which model oil filter would fit this thread for the engine

The original A-Plus oil filter was Unipart GFE 150, used on various other BL cars including Spitfire 1500 and Midget 1500. Here is a compatibility list lifted of the net.

As Chris says GFE 150 is the original Unipart number. Genuine supplies of this seem to have long since dried up. ebay do have a few plain white filters listed as GFE 150 how good they are is anyone's guess. I have been using a Mann and Hummel W 713/14 on my Brown Coupe.

You say you have an NZ 1275 engine, so I'm picking you are in NZ? I was unable to read Chris's post regarding filter cross over part numbers, so apologies if this reply is a double up.
The NZ Ryco # for the filter you require is: Z246.
