Fast Marina Magazine

I have a 1976 Morris Marina 1.8tc engine fitted in my NG TF Kit Car, i have tried 3 different starter motors and cant get the correct one. i have tried the M2100, M35G and the M418G. the manual also makes reference to the M35J (PE) i assume this is a pre-engaged version of the M35J. can anyone assist. does anyone know if there is a difference between the M35 J and the M35G

there's a good right up about the 1800 starters in mickthefitters 1800hl mk2
