On the thread where it came from, I've asked for more pics of the dealership and cars. Some were of the staff. Mentioned were a total of 11 BL Main dealers on the Wirral alone! Its only 20 miles long and 10 miles wide!

Just looking at the reg which is obscured. VBG 50??
Looking at dvla shows mainly Honda and yamaha for the series of numbers 501 to 509 with a couple missing. 500 shows a triumph.. BG was one of the local licence offices for Liverpool area.
I suspect it's long gone sadly

Sadly no record of a number like that one so I expect it is dead, but you never know!
Number may be VBG 50M

I zoomed in on plate and it does look like VBG 50, the five has a flat top so doubt it is a six. Front off side tyre is under a little loading as well.
Looks a nice car but I am bound to say that ;-)

PAUL I see on the picture the car has a sun roof was it an optional extra on the jubilee when they were new.

Hi Ivor,
As far as I know it was not an option to fit the roof. Many were fitted afterwards often by other companies at the request of the cars owner.
The one fitted to my Jubilee was done 2 years after it was sold as I found a date scribed in to the sunroof frame - year 1975.
Regards,
Paul.

Don't the Warren brothers have a TC Saloon with a factory fitted electric sunroof?
