8) my front wheels seem to lie inwards at the top. i notice there are no spacer plates behind the front shocks. were they fitted to the early models. the general has them,and if mine should have them could anyone sell me a pair.

Hi Larry, have your inner wings got 6 holes near the shock mounts?...if so i would think she should have the plates on there...i have a couple you can have if you get stuck

Backing plates on their way Larry, hope they do the trick, but i still reckon you will have to raise her up two splines on the torsion bars to get her to sit nice , let me know how you get on, Frank.
