v6pop used the marina to go up the pub last night to meet up with the hot rod crowd. and on the way back he found the understeer oversreer that a standerd marina has i think it gave him a bit of a fright

You don't want to do this to your Marina!!
Mind you this was not due to speed, under or over steer! Just bloody bad luck 20 years ago

Dont know what you mean

.....a controlled exit from a roundabout...well an out of control exit maybe more correct!!
It all started with a quickish approach to the roundabout, turn the wheel to the left, then a bit more as nothing is happening, then it turns but now I need to turn it right...big handfulls to get it to turn right and it does followed rapidly by the back end wanting to be in front so rapid turning to the left...continue this while exiting eerr sort of sidewaysish from the roundabout!! Only had a pint at the pub...'onest
Rear anti roll bars are on,front to follow very soon, plus the front damper kit should,I hope, start to improve the "handling"
I do like a bit of sideways action 8) Gurston Down 1991

Better... Still room for improvement ! I like the 14" wheels! The 1.8 really needs some 10cwt torsion bars..

Yes Ben, I think it was lack of experience as I had only passed my test 11 days before!!
Plus my motor came off worse as I hit a 7 tonne Telecom cargo lorry in mid air and left both sets of tyre marks down the side of it! So I was off the ground then too!
A nice bendy tree enabled me to cork screw it once before hitting it.
If the seat had not broken I would have had my head out of the sunroof which may have improved the visiblilty for a short time
I still do not know what happened, but I expect what ever made me go in to the centre of a dual carriageway had long gone when I had completed my acrobatics
