I need a starter motor for my 1275cc, i think it should be a 9 teeth one. Would one from a Mini or Morris Minor fit

It looks like my starter motor is on it's way out. 1.3 Marina Saloon 1980.
Some are being advertised new on E-Bay. What are the specs I need to know as I don't want to order the wrong one!
Used to be so easy years ago - just pop into local car parts shop and Bob's your uncle.
