My Mk1 saloon is one of those odd ones that came off the production line with a Lockheed brake servo and master cylinder rather than the usual Girling type. Am I right in thinking the Lockheed servo is the same as that fitted to the Triumph TR6?

What numbers does it have stamped on it? Google might help find a match for those.

Hi Bryan I can't see any numbers at the moment as it's fitted on the car. However it's a single system direct acting servo and has a Lockheed "tin tank" type of master cylinder bolted to it.
I'm fairly sure it's the same as for the TR6 but just want to be sure before buying one.

Not sure how helpful this will be but....
I have a TR6 Servo that will be fitted to my Marina based Marlin. It fits in the space available and on the mounting studs, but I had to make up a spacer to go between the servo and the pedal box so that the push rod was in the correct place for the pedal attachment.
I am pretty sure that when you buy a TR6 servo nowadays it isn't the original spec anyway as it comes with a large spacer that goes between the pedal box and the servo. Discarded in my case in favour of the above mentioned home made one.

Thanks Robin, it's something I'll have to consider. I assumed the spacer was specific to the TR6 or the model of TVR which is also fitted with the Lockheed servo. I'll have to dig out the workshop manuals, the Haynes manual just shows the more common Girilng servo, even though it also shows a diagram of the Lockheed master cylinder.
