Has anyone got a list of garages that sold Marinas back in the 1970`s..?
or has anyone heard of Crouch @ sons?
Looked on the internet but found nothing...
I am pretty sure my new one is from Ilminster ,it would be nice to have a bit of history... 8)

My TC was sold by Loughton Car Sales and I seemed to have tracked the garage down and the name may have been King Car Sales or then K&S Cars sales and it now is Motor Group UK still at the same address! Different Telephone number.

Here's a few from the Sheffield area.
:P George Kennings/Kennings/Kennings group (depending at what stage in the companys history) i think at least four BL/British Leyland outlets as well as other business in the group. The Tenter street showroom sold BL on the bottom floor and Rolls Royce on the upstairs floor (my fathers brand new mk3 came from here vermillion, black vinyl roof, great looking car,he had a choice of reg nos and went for "HKU 852W" because it rhythmed oh where are you now?)
:P Weir Head motors Penistone road Sheffield
:P Eric Stead,Ecclesfield common,The last time i went in there they still had a brand new MGB GT unregisered in the showroom .This was about five to six years ago,the dealership is still there will find out if the MG is!
:P Heeley Bridge garage,Heeley Sheffield, these had a very nice silver and damask Marina mk3 pick-up with estate chrome bumpers and salon interior, later a mini pick-up.
:P Kennings Penistone road Sheffield,BL commercial sales "Nell" came from here Bought new in 1979 i think she was either £2400 or £2700.

Just a quick thought, the UK dealer network information will be listed in the cars service history book as well as the international dealers.

Yeah it has half day closing on Tuesdays (mind you the amount of building going on at the moment the City centre is best avoided at all costs) We do have mains water now and i once meet someone who saw the sea before they died Honest!
