Blackpool Exhibition Centre With Pictures

Post by The General » Sat Mar 08, 2008 9:46 pm

There are a few of us heading to blackpool on easter monday to attend a new indoor event that includes autojumble. There are only around 50 cars attending and we just got in at the last minute. As far as i know it is £6 entry fee. I will post some pics of the show when we get back. If anyone is in the area why not come along you never know what you may pick up for your mobile.

Saw the pic in PC from the NEC advertising the show was really confused as I hadn't got anything pencilled in that date!

Hi Sam,

Same here - the Practical Classics blurb said the MMOC are supporting - anyone know about it?

It didnt actually say the MMOC just that a few Marinas and Itals would be there or words to that effect, I don't have a copy to hand!

Got it here, and agree not MMOC but "Marina/Ital clubs" - however the magazine shows a picture of our stand at the NEC, with you Sam, Andy and Paul Mondey in the background.

 haha very good guys. To fill everyone in on the escapades, we had had a great journey down to blackpool and with only a mile to go coming of the m55 the general's o/s/r wheel decided to go on a journey through the centre reservation bounce over a few cars and land itself in a field  . The studs have loosened of from the hub and so paul and snowy came to the rescue with a rear axle which was quickly stripped of it's half shaft and fitted at the side of the road. Many thanks go to paul who was a saviour in bringing us the parts needed to get it back running, and thanks also to the auld yin and sean for their assistance and also to martin and graeme who made the journey to attend the show. i thought i had some pics of the disater but only a video so hopefully sean can post some for me. Other than this an enjoyable weekend.
