It pays to get rid of that old build up in the shed(gives you more room to put new build up).Found @ 10 RH front weather sheilds, new tank sender unit & a bucket load of other gear. Finally made engine mount brackets for the V8.I still have half the shed to go through so expecting to find more forgotten goodies.

I know the feeling! My garage is a tip and I know there is parts in it somewhere but I end up having to buy new parts as it would take me weeks to look out

8) I went through my sheds and garage and took the lot to the autojumble at Lanark last week and made £90.It nearly paid the road tax on my Mazda. Its worthwhile digging it out. Even if you only make £20 its 20 you never had.

The front weather sheilds are the plastic moulded type that go around the drivers window so you can have the window down & not get wet.I also found the Bathurst Marina compliance plate & Cams log book.A box full of new tail light/blinker lenses.2 complete 4.4litre V8s & enough gaskets to open a shop.A Force7 instrument cluster & I am still going.I did get some more done to the V8 as well, all those bits I put away for the project that have finally been found again & are getting bolted on as I go.

Talking of van bumpers I have bought brand new front and rear bumpers for my mk1 as there was not a single bumper on it when I bought the van. They are the silver ones but I want to get them chromed. Does anybody know how much this will roughly cost to get done and can anyone recommend a good place to do it? I could even just get the rear bumpers done if a new mk1 front bumper comes up for sale at the auto jumbles
