How does this grab you??

I replaced (at long last) my tie rod bushes today, the front suspension had been rattling and knocking for some time and, well, once I saw these, um, it wasn't exactly surprising

Needless to say, they're bin fodder and have been replaced by a set of shiny new PU bushes, they look great on it, I've still to drive it to feel the difference, but I'm expecting big improvements in road behaviour!

Been busy with my Marina actually, done another job I've been meaning to do on it today as well, my N/S wheel bearings, another shock, for when I took out the outer race, I found half a bearing, half the cage and rollers were missing! It was rumbling a bit which was what prompted me to replace it, but I certainly wasn't expecting that, maybe I will fish it out of the bin again and take a picture to let you see it, because this was scary stuff!

8) Just done that little job on mine mate  ..are your tie rods still good?, take a good look at them while they are off as i have known these go like an hour glass on the stem where they pass through the eyehole in the lower chassis rail, then snap under the pressure of the new bushes
