Help needed, up to my neck in s**t!

Can anyone help me, I've got a big problem with my Marina, I was trying to get the clutch slave cylinder out and I had the idea, since pushing the clutch lever wasn't working, to have someone disengage the clutch on the pedal so I could tie up the lever, the clutch certainly did disengage, and it won't go back, it would seem that the cylinder is quite firmly seized or stuck in the fully extended position, it will not move! So for-by cutting the pushrod, which is being considered as a total last resort, can anyone suggest a method for releasing the cylinder? I've tried hitting it, wiggling it and generally fannying about with it, to no avail. I've came to the conclusion it is the cylinder and not the arm by virtue that if it were the arm, the cylinder could be pushed in, and it can't! So does anyone have any suggestions or indeed a spare clutch pushrod kicking about??? I'm about at the end of my tether with this, especially since I had the car nearly ready to go and it's only a week and a half till showtime!!

In fact, scrub most of the above, I've just said bugger it and cut the pushrod, whether that will turn out to be a fatal blunder, I don't know unless someone really has a pushrod out there! The cylinder is stuffed as well, meaning I was right on about the cylinder! Don't matter if anyone has got one of these, I can get a brand new one! But I'm appealing now for anyone out there who has a clutch slave cylinder pushrod, if you do, how much for it?
