does anyone have an old dealer directory lying around which tells of all the bl garages and where they are situated in britain or is there even such a book ?

Ray, this might help you with your quest try the back of an old service book or the owners handbook all the UK dealers were listed on the back pages as well as the BL/Austin morris dealers over seas....(will have an old handbook somewhere about if you haven't got one yourself)

ill have a look never looked at those books in my puff just left them in a cupboard somewhere.

Hi, I have a book of approved Austin Morris etc Distributors and dealers!! 8)

Goes by county in UK. Bit long to list though!

If only I had 3!!

I have one which is good and it is I think a MK2/3 but not MK1 TC.
The colour is sort of black, could be charcoal!

I bought the 2 coupes that were in the classified section and picked them up on thursday. Both of them are low mileage one owner cars but both needing loads of work, will most likely make one good car out of the two. Anyway one of them still has the original supplying dealer sticker in the rear window and the original service book from:
