Cheers... just got to nip from Yorkshire to Somerset topick it up now !
It's been a while without one.
I SWORE I wouldn't have another... "That would be going backwards... onwards and upwards" etc...
But here I am again !
it does look a nice car - the guy sounds genuine enough - very keen to chat about the history etc when I called him which is always reassuring.
Whoo Hoo ! Marina Summer !

I have another type of Marina chin spoiler! It came all the way from America! It's up on the mainland so I shall have to get Sam to take a photo of it.

Hey Ben...
I think we must have been posting at the same time before.
What's the 16v Conversion then ? I've been away a while.
Looking at fitting coil packs and EDIS - doesn't look too difficult at all.
I'd be interested in seeing the spoiler...
I'm collecting the car next weekend actually! If I get chance I will make that detour!
Cheers all...
Rob
PS: I have bought a Marina again for a good reason. I recently bought a VW bug - I'm selling that because everyone I dealt with in that scene were so elitist (sp?) - How can someone who owns a car that was built in the millions act like they own the crown jewels !?

Bung a 16v engine in it! Zetec's fit nicely!
Yeah never really got the whole VW thing... I prefer cars that have a troubled history!

so... The guy has pulled out of this sale.
It's a real shame. I was looking forward to looking after this one.
It was the sort of car you could really relish time on.
Spend time polishing rather than repairing.
Absolutely gutted
I could never cut a car like that (The pickup was cut up by the previous owner...) Gutted again. and again... gutted.
