Fast Marina Magazine

Yesterday Ray and I went out to Ayrshire to remove anything of use to us from the barn find Marina. I have never seen a Marina as rotten as this one. Link for the video and pics here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKlJfa2Wq74

wow now that's a rotton car even the back scuttle is rotted away from the rear screen, makes removal easy though nice interior there and some door seals etc you never know maybe my next project (after the mk3 is sold ) will req some bits you never know what's around the corner, mind you sorry to say this boys but I do fancy an allegro or some othe bl marque it's surprising how few of them there are at shows these days plents of mk1 and mk2 escorts and cortinas triumph heralds and p6 rovers but no late 70's bl stuff even a princess would be a laugh to take to a show what you reckon ?? don't all chastise me at once I will still have my marina coupe

Stick with the marina's big Stu, there more fun! Why not go for a commercial Marina this time?

Yup gotta agree had an Allegro and a Triumph 2000 but Marinas get in your blood

Yeah she was far gone. The owner has lived on the farm for just over 22 years and the car was in there when he moved in so it couldn't have been that old when laid up. Its hard to imaging how this car became like this. Just goes to show that the build quality on the Mk2's were not that good!

Aye it is solid (I think) but the build quality on the Mk2 and 3's are pish really compared to the Mk1's
