As the title says!

As I am spending a lot of time and money getting my car restored. I want to attend as many shows as possible this summer.

I went to the Killerton House, Paignton green ones last year.

Any suggestions and anyone want to join me?

Hi,

I wouldn't mind strolling up, but don't know if car will be road ready then?

So might just be me and my Golf or Motor Bike!

:D I was hoping someone more organised than me was going to come along and say what shows they where doing and the dates!

The Paignton one last year was the end of July and Killerton I think was May time.

Quite happy to travel some miles to see some different ones so if your in Somerset, Cornwall, Dorset etc then let me know and I am sure I can be there. :P

If you contact Joe Warren in Exeter, I know he's working on the seasons shows for Devon & Cornwall.

At the moment I am seeing/speaking to Joe every few days ( see readers projects  ) and he is planning on doing a few local ones-Killerton and Culmstock where two he mentioned.

I was hoping to drum up a few more and maybe get to hear about a few smaller ones that arent as well known to attend.

They used to have one at Powderham Castle. I haven't lived in Devon since 96, so don't know if they still have it, been awhile. :)

The Bristol Classic Car Show is on at Shepton Malet

Hi Balmy,

I received an entry form for the Paignton sea front show this week, so count me and black tulip in!!

Did this show about 3 or 4 years ago, tried to enter last year, couldn't get in so they kept my name on the list for this year.
Are you having a club stand? or do I enter the seventies section as an individual entry, and just park up together?

Dave.

I was just planning on getting as many Marinas together to as many shows in Devon as poss! :D

We could do a club stand. Last time I spoke to Joe Warren he said he wasnt planning on doing shows this year but I will be asking him again. Thinks its only right when people ask who did a great job of my car I can point to him!

I am happy to do any organising but can someone from the club advise what we need to do or what banners/flags/dancing girls are available please?

Last year the two of us just entered and drove in/parked together. We can drop past Franks house on the way if need be and all go in convoy!

Any other takers for the 'English riviera'?

I have sent off my entry form for the Paignton show, and received an acknowlegment/reply saying no other Marinas entered yet! Am I going to be the only Marina at Paignton in July?
