Well i found another marina today - they just keep popping up in my neighbourhood , this one is again a bit worse for ware , the owner has it for the engine for his mgb gt , as it is a 1.8
but it is dark brown on the bottom half of the car and more beige upper and a brown vynil roof - well whats left of it
can't see the front end of the car as it is covered by brambles , will try and get pics of it soon , i am hoping to get bits of it , as i did talk to him and he is happy for parts to go from it

Let's hope he knowsthe differences between a single carb Marina (unless that's an HL) and an MGB otherwise he will have the same problems as me! Josh (who has a single carb Marina with an MGB engine)

Doesn't look like an HL, looks like a deluxe or super to me, which will be single carb.

Hi Andrew
Frank's the man to confirm it, but I don't think so. It looks to me like a Sandglow car with the bottom half resprayed to match the vinyl roof.

Sorry Andrew, sadly doutone paint was never offered on the Marina range as far as i know, you were offered the choice of a vinyl roof though...very fashionable at the time

, that car looks to be as Chris has already pointed out, a Sandglow car with a brown vinyl roof, and looks like someone had the lower half painted to match.

Hi Chris, nothing serious just had to change the backplates over and fit an electric fuel pump! (which I was planning to do anyway

)
