No ! mine had the hole Trev but it was about 5 years ago now ! They fitted quite easy mate and while i had the interior out i pumped a load of waxoyl into any cavities i could find

! Another thing you will need is some spray adhesive for some of the smaller bits mate

Pauls right-I have just fitted a set from that guy. They fit ok-only needed to trim the front one so it wasnt as 'rucked' up. Gear lever wasnt cut out but its easy enough if you remove the gear stick.
Only fault I found was on the rear carpet-the vinyl 'patches' are not quite in the right place. Either that or I didnt fit it right.......

Hi Also just bought a set of carpets from the same company, based on the feedback on here. I rang the guy as I needed something non standard (wider/taller) to cover the raised transmission tunnel from when I had the the overdrive in. Not having the gearstick hole cut suits me well as the 5 speed stick comes up further back. Very helpful.
The main difference between what they supply and the BL carpets is that the transmission tunnel is a separate peice from the footwells, rather than the BL molded all in one.
The guy has paper patterns for the Coupe and Saloon and if anyone wants to recarpet their estate if you send a paper pattern for the boot area they will cut to your pattern. Also he says he has the rubberised felt boot floor liner stuff and will make new boot floor liners if someone can supply a pattern.
He will also do non standard things, like binding the edges in contrasting webbing rather than same colour as the carpet, so if you want black carpet with red binding or whatever - he's you man.
He actually likes to deal direct rather than through eBay (saves him money), he's going to send me a pic of the colour swatches and I'll post on here with contact details etc.

The carpets arrived in the week and I have just finished fitting them, I have made a page on my Marina Coupe website to cover it -
http://www.marinacoupe.co.uk
Bottom line, well trimmed, fitted OK with a bit of adjustment.
No gearstick hole but that suited my needs with the 5 speed shift.
