 I suppose we shouldn`t really be surprised to see this sort of behaviour from Ford, when it comes to its` rivals heritage, after looking round the museum the other week i noticed a distinct lack of BL products, now i know why...they are all stuck out the back where no one can see them quietly rusting away :( , as i said before how can they justify leaving so many rare and priceless exhibits outside, while at the same time displaying a Nissan bluebird inside along with several examples of the same model of other cars, such as the Minor..at least 4 i spotted, Rover P5` s at least 3, Minis..at least 6 and so it goes on, so if you can find space for 4 or 5 examples of one model how can they say they have no room for any of those outside?, strikes me someone is only putting in what they think Joe public wants to see...lots of shiny Morris Minors and MG`s, cars they can see at any classic car show or on the road any day of the year!!! surely you go to a Heritage museum to see the cars that you DONT SEE EVERYDAY!, perhaps i`ve got it wrong and we should all be happy to look at the same old stuff we see everywhere else in a Museum, and forget about our motoring heritage like Gaydon seems to have done  , all we can do is vent our displeasure at them and hope they realise what a mistake they are making.

Hello Jimbo, the cutaway Ital was sold off a couple of years ago, as far as i know it now belongs to a pub landlord somewhere who uses it as a talking point in his pub!! :?

Would anybody mind if I post a link from this thread to the Practical Classics Mag web site.

My thoughts of this are, with the w8t of a magazine behind us we can massage Ford into sorting this discraceful situation out....
