GAS BOARD VAN

I was just wondering today whatever happened to the gas board van, i last saw it a few years ago and i was always drawn to it as my dad worked for the gas board and had many different vans through his time there so aquired many items that would be period to the van.
if it still around perhaps it is up for sale, if the wife will let me i may well be intrested in it

Hi, I think you may find that Dave Richardson has the Gas Van! B184 AOX I think
He is MMOC Secretary at moment!
Needs some work from what I hear.

i have been trying to get hold of dave to buy this van and he has not been returning my e-mails and he kept saying it was in a mates barn and he could not get to it .
i would have loved to have had this VAN as it is what my dad used to have when he worked for the gas board and have many period items to kit the van out

I too wanted the van but after many unreturned emails and phone calls I gave up. Very disappointed. That was at least a year ago.

finally goy a reply from the guy with the van and he now wants £900 for it after telling me he only wanted £600 for it last year??????
