Just wondering if someone out there has a part number for the manifold gasket to fit a 1700? Doesn't seem to be on the modern parts computers in this part of the world, for some strange reason.

You could take a punt at this one, given its cheap enough?

You could try Bowden Engine Parts. They seem to stock a lot of old Austin/Morris/BMC/BL parts.

No doubt Kilroy will pop up with the part number - may even have one in his shed. :)

Complete gasket sets from Gaskets Direct.

Could also try asking for a Princess 2-litre gasket. Pretty sure they're the same.

As Bryan suggested - Chris Bowden is the guy to check out for the cheapest source.
Unfortunately, I have already purchased most of his O series stock - but he acquires more frequently, so still ask.
And yes - Princess gaskets will work fine - just need to chop a small piece off the front edge.
Cheers.
