Last show of the season

To mark the end of 2007 season we gathered at Selkirk. Some of our North of England branch members ventured over the wall to sample our liquid refreshments and brave the Scottish weather in tents.
I’m sure that someone will post how Saturday night went as I couldn’t make it due to work commitments but on arrival on Sunday I was greeted with plenty of Marina’s. The show was excellent with a great verity of cars and clubs on display but unfortunately there was no sign of the Sun as it more or less rained the whole time. Being Marina enthusiasts this didn’t hamper our day and it was great to chit chat and meet fellow members.
A big thanks to all who managed to attend and also Elouse for making the time to spend the weekend with us rebels north of the border. Some photos of today’s action:

aye we had a great time on the saturday night buckfast was the order of the day, helped dull the pain of the freezing cold tent, still got a sore head now but it was really good to meet up with everyone nice to see paul there and you scottish boys do know how to take a swallie, dougie and his mate were absolute beer monsters and I won't menton who threw up in the middle of the night just managed to get the car door open apparently....oops said too much already, plus it gave us a good chance to give the mk3 a good run out and it drove there and back an absolute dream i'm well chuffed with it.
thanks guys for a great weekend and look forward to next years shows

Good to hear you got back ok Stu. Your motor is looking absolutely spot on, Uncle Frank will be well proud of you! I took a sore head for you this afternoon when I herd you were on the tonic wine; at least it kept you warm (albeit in an unconscious state!)

lol good job you didnt have Adz's Jubilee there, would probably have dug that house a nice new moat with the ground conditions being so soft!
Looks like a good show lots of Minis as well, I saw a lovely fluorescent green one today  Don't think much of the upcoming Mini Clubman either...

Well guys, what can i say. I would like to thank everyone who has been involved with ecosse throughout the year and especially for this show as we had a great turnout 11 marinas, 2 itals, 2 kit cars and there was another kit car and a mk3 marina there as well but unfortunatley they were involved with the orginisation of the rally, and to those who never made don't worry there is always next year.
