Notice how a bit of lowering makes the Marina look much longer.

Thats it.

Very 8)

Always wanted good alloys for my Mk3 when I had it but settled for TR7 rims and standard trims so it looked subtle. Lowering does wonders for the looks though.

Lowered approx 2" by resetting rear springs and adjusting torsion bars to suit.
Be better on a Coupe too, as rear passengers will cause this to bottom out the rear suspension occasionally.
I am thinking of cutting a little off the bump stop rubbers just to gain another inch travel.
Handles nicely though.
Wheels are 13" x 7" Superlites, and I have my steels made to the same dimensions.

This one has the same treatment..

What size rubber do have on them? Any clearances issues?

Tyres are 205/60 x 13.
Yes - inside front wheel arches - I cut a slice off the inner edge of the chin spoiler, and fold up the trailing edge of the guard another half inch.
Rear guard needs to have the fold tapped upwards around the top of the arch or it rubs the edge of the tyre when suspension is fully compressed.
