What a crying shame - that must be one of the earliest still around?

More than likely for banger racing :-(

Car thieves are the lowest of the low, sadly there is no doubt if they catch the little b*stards that all they'll get will be a slap on the wrist from PC Plod and told not to do it again.

That's a proper shame. Anyone got any contacts in the banger circuits? They are so damn rare, if any are raced it'll almost certainly be this one. :(

Evidently the guy stored the car at the rear of his house, but open to a back lane, with no dizzie or battery. They turned up with a transporter and had the car away in 6 minutes, the guy was in the house and thought that the noise he could hear was the weekly refuse wagon, which normal arrives around the same time.

I think that the moral of this story is, locking your car is not enough if it is stored outside.

I feel so sorry for the owner, I would be gutted. They must have been following him to find out where it was kept. Mine is kept in the garage at the back of the house so Im gona be more wary now, might even fit this alarm iv been meaning to install for ages. Hope the estate turns up.

Would agree with that. There'd be uproar.

It makes me f***ing mad seeing these threads for any car. Doesn't matter waht it it, its someone's pride & joy. Something they've actually worked to own. Unlike these thieving w****rs.

Do you know what was on the fron page of the local paper here last week...?

"We need to make a living too"... Direct quote from a burglar. Go out and earn one like everyone else then. Good job nooone tried breaking into mine that night I'd be up for murder now...

Anyway, back on topic. I fear that an estate is probably headed for banger racing. Keep an eye out there and get in touch with the local fraternity.
