Just got off the phone chatting to Ian Harrop. Trevor and Ian are driving over from Coventry in AOX to the show, and "did we have any spare space on our stand".
You betcha!
So if you want to see a special bit of Marina history, you need to be in P'boro on Sunday.

I'm expecting to be there, had a slight problem on Wednesday, throttle sticking open, not nice, and found accelerator cable breaking up and jamming, I tried a brake cable from the bike shop, but wouldn't bend enough.
After another scrapyard visit I now have the centre bit from a focus throttle cable and home made ends, plus a helper spring and it seems fine over a 40 mile run.
See you there.

Well had a great day weather did not cause to many problems and stayed OK.
I think the Marina stand did well as I think we won 2 trophies and there were not that many handed out and there were hundreds of cars:D
Here is a few pictures I could not help but take
Not something that happens everyday, I believe these are the only 2 Jubilee's Registered and Licensed and on the road presently.

Chris Wilson's car.
He originally did the PDI on it when new and bought it back off the owner when it was 5 years old. Been on the road ever since! Never had a complete restoration so original car. Does show its age but adds to the history and charm.

Good to see two lovely Jubilees side by side.
One quick question, did BL really fit a mixture of the early and later type reversing light set ups to these cars?

Yes they did! My original Jubilee had them between the rear lamps above bumper and I know of others like mine in the photo with them below bumper. Depends on the age of shell used. Early one below bumper, later above bumper.
1973 was just on the switch over on parts and you know BL, if they can't even get a press release photo correct (Missing Jubilee badges and bonnet not sitting right!) for the Jubilee then I am sure they fitted all sorts of different bits
