.. when they won't all fit in 1 photo...
Today I was moving cars about, and I also had 1 visitor..

Didn't quite get the far two in shot..

The red ute belongs to my friend Zeb.
He showed up at my place a few years ago with a patchy green ute.
I was able to give him a few missing bits.
He looked at my lot and said - "This is the only one I'll ever have".
Soon after, he sent me a photo.
He had been given another ute.
"Thats how it starts.!" I said.

We have shared a few recovery trips since then.
People offer old vehicles, and you can't really say no.
Despite the fact that his recently restored ute is at my place, here is a photo from his place this morning...

I said - I see you now have 2 utes, 2 estates, 2 vans and a saloon.
Obviously you need another saloon.!
Get onto it.!

I reckon that between us (19 and counting..), we are doing as much as anyone else on the entire planet, to save Marinas..!
What do you think.?

Cheers mates,
Kilroy

Like Wow ! Kilroy that is one amazing collection of cars you have, fantastic.
I get it in the neck from the boss with just two cars and two motorbikes,I think she'd keel over if she opened the bedroom curtains and seen that lot.
Brilliant stuff,
Gary :D

I used to have a 1700 saloon same colour as the one in the top shot, the vinyl roof was darker I think.
can't see a coupé in that amazing collection, did any coupés make it over to New Zealand? I see the baby poo brown colour made it over, same colour as my coupé and I love it.

Yes, Aussie Coupés were sold in NZ (not sure if they were imported CBU or assembled locally from CKD kits). Think coupés were dropped when Aussie production ceased, and only the saloon, wagon and commercials were assembled locally from UK CKD kits.

Nope.
Only have 11 myself.
All those in the first 2 pics except the red pickup in the centre.
The Mk2 saloon with the drivers guard missing was recently given to me to wreck. It was acquired purely for that guard to repair another car, but it was in use until July this year - so all the running gear is in good condition.
The green pickup is now the red one.
The yellow pickup is up the driveway on right in last pic - has a canopy fitted. It is to be cut in half to make a trailer.
The second van up the driveway may also be cut in half to make a trailer.
We using all the best bits...

Still keep finding more though.. :)

Looks like an old BL compound from the 70's! Awesome.

Got about the same amount of cars here, but not all Marinas.

Others include Three Carltons (two spares cars), Two and a half Monzas (one for spares and a half car trailer) Two Mantas, One Opel GT, One Calibra (engine donor) One Mk2 Astra, One Suntor as well as a trailer tent and a transporter trailer!!

With Mick's collection along side we're nudging twenty as well!

Mad as a box of frogs all of us!!!! :?

Maybe so - maybe not...

A friend of mine was recently given a Marina estate by his neighbour who can't drive any more.
He had owned it from new, but it was only in average condition.
A few weeks later, a 4wd collided with it in traffic, destroying the right front guard.
Insurance wrote it off as a new guard was not available.
They then paid out $3000.
Wow.!
Most of mine cost around $200.
This means some of my cars have appreciated by 1500% during a recession.?
Name another car to do that.

I figure I'll sell a few when they are fetching over $5000.

But only a few.

I don't have many left..
:D

PS. And they're all Mk3's except the scrapper..!
