if you had a chance what would you do to a marina to make it better. i myself would love to make a marina rally replica with the 4 carbs fitted and all BL tuning fitted and upset the escort mk1 boys

i would love a mumford or a van that i could turn in to a gas board van i nearly had my hands on the van but the owner at the time increasing the price. but for now i would love a full resto or ar least a respray on my grandads mk3 saloon

I would get the bottom end of the engine balanced and lightend so i could increase the rev range! Happy with the way it looks,just need a wee bit more power :twisted:

i nearly had a marina van which was in loughborugh scrap yard i went away for a few weeks and went the buy it but the marina had gone i hope it got saved

A Mk2 1.3 Coupe Super with a 1.4 K series with Type 9 5 speed, vented disks, sliding brake calipers.

Totally original body, 6" wide rims, 13" diameter and steel not alloy.

Where do I begin? :?

A coupe with a Rover V8, standard body, '70s purple paint, cream leather interior, lowered 1.5", 13x7 minilites, a Northern gentleman's express.

A van with that '70s custom look - lowered 2", Range Rover 4.6 v8, box flares, spoilers, TransAm bonnet scoop, wild paint, airbrushed mural, padded leather interior, shagpile carpet, the works. :twisted: A smaller version of this "Mad Max" Ford Falcon van ...

And a Leyland 262 GT4 for classic racing, with the Lynx triple weber setup.

Probably not going to be very popular with my image... but ohwell

I think a Marina with a compact, modern 4 cylinder turbo engine (lightweight of course) and modern suspension grafted in would just be so much fun.

Would love it to look just how my Coupe does, blaze orange with black steels (maybe widened...) and a healthy dose of rake. Keep a set of 15x8 minilites in the boot with slicks for going to the track :mrgreen:

Modern 4 cylinder fuel injection unit, modern front suspension, can't say owt about modern rear suspension cos the new Corvette has leaf springs and thats a modern car, power steering, electric windows, decent seats, rust free and leak free.

Martec and I had some correspondance about grafting in Triumph Herald/Spitfire/GT6/Vitesse front suspension, which would be doable.

Mild road rally cams (arm and a leg)
Sierra type 9 box (got that)
Bellhousing from a mondeo gearbox (got that)
Front suspension from rover400 (Got that)
Front suspension from rover 400 to be fitted to the rear
Independant diff to be bolted to the boot floor (missed that)
Drive shafts (got them)
Another set of Passat brake calipers
Another Canems ECU for EFI and ignition (got that)
45mm bikeThrottlebodies
Another coupe in good nick to build it into (probably coming from local college but will get shot if I take it)
DVLA to change their rules so I can build it.
