Repairing door bottoms.

Hiya, how do you go about doing this please? They are corroded quite a bit.

To be honest it depends on how bad they are, picture would be great and somebody would be able to help you out.
If it's just surface you may get away with sanding them back, rustproofing them and just primer and paint.
If they are really bad they may need to be cut out and have plates welded in, in which case it'd be easier to find a couple of doors that aren't in terrible condition.
Personally I'd stay away from bogging them up too much, as chances are it'll bite you in the ass eventually.

My local panelbeater does a lot of classic cars and hot rods. He told me he would cut out the bad metal and replace it with galvanised steel, otherwise it's almost impossible to stop the rust coming back. However, that was for rust that was only on the door skin, not on the frame.
Try to find some doors in better condition, as a first option.

There was actually a quite good guide on making this type of repair panel recently in Classic Ford magazine which was quite good. They used routered out MDF as a mould to make the repair sections but really, you are looking at needing to re-skin it at the same time. Bottom line is that you would need quite a bit of time to do a good job and probably a lot of practice. (I know I would..)

Look at Gary's white Mumford door repair in Uncle Franks section. Frank did a door repair. Took the door skin off and repaired the frame and re-skinned.
Needs to be done properly to stop the rust coming back as any weld will attract rust unless done well.

As Paul has said, the only real cure is a new skin Phil, but i have repaired just the botton two inches or so by using a section of steel angle section, LMC Hadrian supply 4ft lengths of steel with a 10 mm fold on one edge and a 2" flat section, this can be cut to length and fabricated to fit the lower edge of your doors, it`s a lot of fiddling about but perfectly do-able with a little skill and patience
