I thought I had seen that car before, on Skip Harris' site under Gallery there are some Marinas at the Cambridge car show, it's there also. Mk2's are a nice looking car, shame it took BL so long to start putting metallic paint on Marinas.

Is that a mk4 Ford Cortina 1300?, my father in law had one of those, that must have been the most gutless car i have ever been in!!, why they ever bothered to fit a 1300 in a car that size is beyond me  , especially as the Escort covered that size range well. The 1600 was much better

but as Jim says, not as nice as the Marina 8)

How can you tell it is a 1300 Frank?

I`m just guessing, from the photo it looks like it`s got plain black bumpers, i think the 1600 and 2000 models had chrome....but don`t quote me on that...i`m no Ford expert

Tis a Cortina MK4 2.0 S, with RS alloys.......
Originally had rostyle steel wheels fitted to this model!
My first car was a red one!
Strange collection to compare though, 2.0 cortina, 1500 or 1600 Avenger, 1800 Marina? 1600 or 2000 Cavalier.....
