8) as the dark nights are approaching what is going to be your winter project.......the engine and gearbox are now fitted to the "auld yin " and it is running well. i am going to repair the wings as they are the originals.i need the felt strips that clip on to the door where the window slides (dont know the technical name ) but i need 4 of them as the glass on the 2 front doors is badly scraped. i have replacement glass. not really a lot to do to it other than check it over. also i still need to do the brakes on my daughter in laws mk3. other than that all the hard work is done....mind you if you are from australia or new zealand your winter project will be finished....what are you going to do come the dark noghts.......wooooooooo. 8)

Preparing for my spring tour of the Gulf....
But am planning to sort the welding out on the Sun Tor.
Scuttle panel...
Inner sill to floor pan repair, and A post to lower inner wing to floor drivers side. Hope that makes sense?
Floor pan passenger side...
Inner wings behind behind bonnet hinges...
Sam has volenteered to help though, so between us it should take no time at all!!!
All other car's will go on the back burner, as I really want to take the Marina for a holiday when I get back late summer next year.
Changing the rear door's tomorrow after completing the kitchen redecoration over the last two day's!
All go at the Al's place

i have a nice pair of new legs to go on with a pair of Ital top link arms, new lower links and shocks, plus a roll bar to fit, that should keep me busy for a while

Your misses will end up tying your pipe up in knots Ray; you’re getting as bad as me for acquiring cars. Got another bus last week, she hasn’t got a clue – that’s the best way lol. This one is taxed and tested so if you fancy a hurl in the old girl Larry gimme a shout
