Leyland Australia used the OHC 1500 & 1750 E-series engine.
Leyland Australia subsequently re-engineered the body to take the 2623cc E6. When they went bust, the tooling went to South Africa. The E6 was also fitted to South African Rover SD1 and Land Rovers.
New Zealand Motor Corporation assembled Marinas from CKD kits, sourced from both England and Australia. At one point they were assembling vans and pickups with the 1275cc A-series, estates with the 1800cc B-series, saloons with the 1500cc and 1750cc E-series, and coupes with the 1750cc E-series. Later saloons and estates had the 1700cc O-series. This would give one of the largest range of engine types fitted to a British designed car.
