brake master cylinder

hello im in new zealand with 1976 1.3 marina and need a master brake cylinder.does anyother bl car have the same or whatll fit?thanks for any help,paul

Hi Paul, theres a couple of forum users from your part of the world i'm sure they'll know esp if the cylinder is different to UK specs (which i probably doubt, but they'll know) oh and welcome to the forum

Hey Paul.
Where abouts are you.?
There's a crowd here in Christchurch who fit stainless sleeves to master cylinders - better than the original as far as life expectancy goes. Used to cost $160.
May have a spare unit down here if you really want to ditch your original..

cheers kilroy,im in auckland and will do the rounds this week for the girling.75 ,see whats up here.i will need 1.cant sell out for a jappa just yet, try and keep it on road for as long as i can.any help from anyone appreciated thanks.

afaik all NZ assembled Marinas were mechanically identical to the UK range (except the Aussie sourced ones with OHC Maxi motors).
