DVLA are not perfect, they do make errors.
Wondering why you are asking though if the car is in Norway since 2008 surely it would have been re-registered over there.

There's a few cars in Norway still on British plates and not yet re-registered as we found out while on the IOW!
Apparently the way to do it is to drive through customs 'looking english' !!!

DVLA can be a law unto themselves, the number of times we put a car reg number in our system to pull details thru for insurance and it comes up with totally the wrong car, sometimes it's dealers putting the wrong info in but in most cases its DVLA, So the chances of them exporting the car correctly could be small lol..
provided you sent off the v5 and have had a reciept showing you've sold the car don't worry about it..

LOL - quite right
this one have been properly exported with both the right part on the v5 and a separate export document and import document made up by the english and norwegian dvla. So probably just one of those computer errors
