ISTR in the late 90s/early 00s there being a website dedicated to the Mumford Marina with possibly this car on it? The picture certainly looks rather familiar. Mind you could be my memory playing me up as I would have been about 6 or 7 at the time! (and yes I had decided I wanted a Marina then 8) )

Plate looks like HDR 510N to me which shows up on the DVLA database as SORN and blue and a 1.8 so I guess it has to be.

Yes unfortunatly this now belongs to Stiv and was the car featured on one of the original Torcars leaflet

Stiv is a carrector that buys ex feature cars but basically has no interest in tem what so ever other than that, and then lets them get valdalized as they sit in his drive and garden.
He's got 3 Mumford's (all ex article / advert cars)
and XDL, feature TC from pratical classics from years ago
all rotting away and Mumford's have had theyre glass vandalized.

That seems a terrible shame. Could they not be prised from his grasp with an offer, or is he one of those 'not for sale at any price' types?
I've always had a soft spot for Mumfords and regret not having bought a (Special?) based one that passed through a local auction some years ago.

Afraid Gary is right, i tried to contact Stiv several times over the past few years and although i have his phone number he will never answer it, it always goes to answerphone and then he never returns your call :roll: , such a waste of all these cars, i was trying to rescue `XDL` my old TC Coupe, but there seems little or no chance
