Torsion bars

Post by Chicken Hawk » Thu Dec 08, 2011 9:10 pm

Can anyone tell me what thickness of the torsion bar/s from the 10cw pickup/van? I know they are a bit thicker but could do with a few numbers to back it up :)
Thanks in advance 8)

Same size fittings at either end (i.e. interchangable)?

The Aussie factory manual doesn't list the bar diameter, but gives colour codes :-
rh 4 - green
lh 4 - yellow
rh 6 - brown
lh 6 - purple

Wonder if the poms did the same? :?

AFAIR the Aussie ones are 17mm for the Morris version and 19mm for the Leyland
