Classic speakers?

Hi all, where can I purchase shelf speakers that dont require any cutting of the back shelf or the door cards? The current speakers I have in it are around 40 years old and are simply screwed into the back shelf and there hasnt been any cutting involved. These speakers were originally for an 8 track player but they now sound tired and awfully tinny. I was wondering what other options are available as I have a casette player but use the adapter to connect my ipod to it. I wanted a casette to keep the period feel of the car as it does resemble an 8 track, a CD player would encourage more people to try and break in. Hope everyone had a great xmas

Could you not just replace the speaker part keeping the original speaker housing? most ICE shops would have the cone /speaker bits for sale

Jeez,
I had both of these in my original car.
Eventually I bought some Pioneer Ts 3way range and cut huge holes in the front door cards.!
