MOTAT (Museum of Transport and Technology), in Auckland, have added a 1978 Marina wagon to their collection. (Cheap phone camera, so not a great pic ). Couldn't get a decent pic of the info sign, but described it as an example of the British motor industry at it's low point - underdeveloped, poorly built, rust prone :roll: . The blurb wasn't derogatory or snide like JC and the TG crowd, just matter-of-fact about it being a product of the time, symptomatic of the industrial malaise that blighted Britain, Australia and NZ in the '70s . Sadly, they were screwed together by Red Robbo's mates, rusted (like everything else at the time!), and were the victim of some suspect management decisions.
But at least they have character.
