Hi folks, just to let you all know, about 2 weeks ago, (12 days actually) I won 2 ebay auctions for Marina Van & Marina Pickup body kits to suit Vanguards models. Some people on here may remember them as they are quite rare. Anyway 12 days later and I still haven't recieved them, the seller isn't responding to my e.mails, so now I need to get in touch with E-bay and payPal and go through all that boll..ks! So assuming that they are not going to turn up at my address could all you kind people out in the land of the Marina keep a look out for them, just in case the guy is a total chancer and tries to sell them elswhere. If they do turn up course I will let you all know, but I'm not optomistic at the moment.
Cheers
Steve
p.s I'll try and post this elswhere on the Forum also

Hi Steve, I had a similar problem like that about a month ago. I ordered wheel cylinders and they was classed as "next day postage" after 15 days the item didn't arrive so I contacted the seller and explained the situation. He was great and sent out a replacement set straight away which arrived a couple of days later. After a month the originals turned up so I emailed the seller again to explain that they were finally here so I just agreed to buy them rather than sending them back.
Have you checked the sellers feedback? I always read their feedback before ordering and if they have too many negs I normally just leave it. After 15 days you can then raise a dispute with ebay/ paypal. Let us know how you get on
Sean

Thanks Sean, yes I always check the feedback this guy has 450 at 100% so no alarm bells there, my problem now is he hasn't repied to my e.mails. So at the moment I'm over £60:00 out of pocket and no sign of getting my goods, it's not as if these things are plentyfull, these were the first that I have seen on e.bay. So I'm about to start a dispute, not sure how that works or wether I will get my money back or my goods. My own gut instinct at the moment is they were never posted as I have checked all the alteratives, neighbors, postman etc.Unfortunately because I paid via PayPal I never had the sellers address so a personal visit is not an option.
Cheers
Steve

I had a similar problem a couple of years ago. Won the item, paid for said item and awaited delivery. No delivery, emails sent, no replies launched a dispute with Ebay, totally bloody annoyed

, found out guy had been rushed into hospital with a heart attack

Not saying this is what has happened but anything is possible
Gary.

In over 400 eBay transactions I've only ever had two problems. One I didn't chase properly-right at the beggining and didn't know what to do and one other but paypall/eBay refunded my money. As Gary said-sometimes things occur that make it seem dodgy.
Talking of eBay-I need to start using my other account as someone on here is stalking my bidding activity!

Not everyone
Since Ebay put the Private bit in and messed up buyers names etc it is harder but not impossible as I did find David on there the other day

E.Bay have told me I need to wait until the 12th before I can start the dispute process, paid for items on the 25th August but need to wait until 12th September before it's officially not going to turn up. Still not getting any response from him/her, if he/she has died or something equally unfortunate then I think that's very unreasonable of him/her.

In my experience (limited) when I have opened a dispute with Paypal/eBay, and have followed their guidelines, eveything has been resolved correctly.
I would sit tight fot a fe more days, and have faith in the system.
