when putting N.O.S grille inserts in the pick-up grille i noticed that one of the halves wasn't painted while the other had the black stripes. Both halves are nos out of the box. partnumbers on the box are correct and the description doesn't say anyting special about it.

Commercial grills did not have the black paint. Only the "higher spec" passenger cars had that luxury.

Some masking tape and satin black paint will fix them.

The part numbers are:-

Saloon/Coupe RH - CZK 3492
LH - CZK 3493

Van/Pick-up RH - CZK 6004
LH - CZK 6005

thanks guys i have 8-10 of these in nos - will go through them & sort them out.
