It needs a little work around the edges and the boot wheel wells, front end is very good

Get a Cat 1 alarm system fitted. Cost around £400 but worth it.

I had a Cat 1 alarm on my Golf GTI 16V but it caused no end of problems and required inspecting once a year to keep up the insurance etc.
Plus once cut in to all the loom with all black wires a bugger to fault find. Solved the problem by selling it

I recommend wiring the car up to a nice high voltage power supply - If you think I am joking ask Chris Weedon

Already done the garage roof at 7500Vdc and that keeps the cats off
