Photo Request of car for article

Now that I have your attention!

I need some photographs of a car but they need to be at specific angles.. Let me explain..

As some of you know I am building a new website for the MMOC. I've been designing bits and pieces for a while now and recently have had some time to press ahead with certain areas.

For the new buyers guide I would like to try something different and it involves making a 3D model of a Marina from photos.

For it to look good I need at least 5 photos that are of the following angles:

Strike that, I will need as many photos of the car as possible from all angles, heights etc as this will then give it the best look and feel for the 3D model.

Straight on looking at the front

Side on looking at N/S

Side on looking at O/S

Straight on looking at the rear

Top down looking at the whole of the car

Ideally I need one of each car.. Saloon, Coupe, Estate, Van etc.. But just one model will better than nothing.

The shots need to be at the same height and distance from the car to get a good aspect ratio on the final model.

*EDIT

OK! I've got a better idea to make it easier on people:

What would work really well is a VIDEO of a car.. All I need is a continuous, 360 degree film of the car starting at the front and rotating clockwise around the car. I can then extract the scenes I need in image form.

You will need a steady hand and must keep the whole car in shot at all times 8-)

Can anyone help? I have a plan 'B' but would really like to do something a little adventurous if I can.

Please let me know if you can oblige, oh and should anyone want to see what the new site looks like, or would like to offer a hand writing articles then please do let me know...

Many thanks,

Ben

I have loads of pictures but maybe not what you need. I will have a look.
I probably have enough internal shots to give you a walk through of the whole workings  :silent:

I'm trying to create a walk around model similar to google earth. If you can add the files to a .zip file and send them over I could have a look. It would also be interesting to see photos of your car in its previous state so I could do a ghost over effect that if you hovered in a certain area it shows what it used to be like with some information ..

To give you an idea of what I'm trying to do:

Bag Test

There will be links on the image that will then open up another photo of the area in more detail, i.e. if you were to click on the A post it would open a photo of the A post area before repair (with wing off). Make sense?

BUT! I can only do it with really good photos. If someone wants to have their car featured, and can take high quality photos (lots of them) Pleeeeese get in touch. I will advertise this on the front page of the site too and our Facebook page.

Thanks.

To give you an idea, that demo has 64 photos in it to make it that smooth.

Bit like my avatar then that has loads of frames which slowly change. Will you be able to morph from one picture to another?

Yes very similar. I can "stitch" the photos together to create a 3D model from all angles :-) I will try and do a demo one with my Rangie if I get some time ;-)

If it stops raining and they stop putting salt down I may be able to get some shots, but it is not going out at the moment :problem:
