End of an Era.

Well, unfortunately, my Mumford ownership has come to an end. Most of you will know that I have had the Mumford up for sale for a while now and while I have enjoyed restoring her it came to the stage where, after the Knebworth show, she was going into the garage to probably not see the light of day for a very long time. Along steps a club member and, after agreeing a price, bought her. I really wanted the car to stay in the club as I know she'll be well looked after so everything has turned out reasonably well. I just hope the new owner gets as much enjoyment out of her as I have. I'm sure they will be along shortly to let you know who they are ;) .

Gary.

Hi Gaz, glad she will be going to a good home, and you will stay in touch etc with everyone, and maybe in the future another Marina project will crop up for you to attend with. So who is the new owner then? Please come forward!! ;)

Gary - sorry to hear you've sold her, must be quite a wrench.

What's the plan, a nice saloon or estate as an everyday driver?

Okay, I admit it,it's me. Thanks for dropping it off Gary. Hope you and your daughter got home without too much delay on Saturday. Now safely parked in the garage, but this does mean the coupes out on the drive. Can anybody recommend a decent outdoor cover?
Glen

Hi Glen, good on ya mate you have got a nice car there! With regards to a good cover I have the Jubilee outside with a good Halfords one on, it's a good waterproof and breathable cover. Not the cheapest but a good cover to protect the car. ;)

Didn't have to let her go Frank but with everything going on at the moment it meant that she would have been sitting in the garage until god knows when and I'd rather she was out getting used. Not the sort of car to use as an everyday driver either. I have done what I wanted to do in saving and restoring her and while it would have been nice to have kept her circumstances dictate differently. VYL has gone to Darren and Babs as their auto is nearly as rotten as the Mumford was so at the moment I am marinaless. To answer your question Chris, a nice van or estate would be good. At least I would have something I could use every day.

Gary.
