i keep driving past it on the A217 just past the petrol station north of the M25 in kingswood it look ok but i think the engine is out its a beige coup'e mk1/mk2 any one on here ?

I know the car you mean, JGC 240K, a 1971 1.3 SDL Bedouin coupe. I don't know the owner, although I wish I did because I want to buy it.....

I have put a card on it tonight looks like the engine and box are out and no bonnet but It's under a car cover so not Shaw how bad it is

Think somebody is restoring it then, last photo I saw of it the front bumper was sitting inside the car and it looked like part of a front wing was in primer. It was on the road a few years ago, I have seen a cutting of when it was last sold (from Classic Car Weekly) and it didn't look too bad. Doesn't really matter how bad it is, I want a 71 Bedouin 1.3 coupe and as far as I know this is the only one Either that or Limeflower

Well I have spoken to the chap and he is restoring it he needs a dashboard which is handy coz I have one somewhere so I am able to help him

Did you let him know about the forum? He may get plenty of help if he comes on here

Actually I'm not sure whether to be happy about that or not Time to start chasing a 71 Limeflower 1.3 coupe.....!

The man been round and pick up the dashboard he seems to know what he is doing the previous owner had removed a few bits like the door lach on the B pilar and door mec so a bit od sounds like he was not shaw what to do with it but the new owner seems to have it in hand
