Front shocks

Hi just had the marina up on a jack to check front suspension noise, noticed lots of lateral play in the lever arms and I think this is where the noise is coming from as I'm convinced that it's not the rack bush
Anybody experienced this before

Many times, at one point they failed each MOT year after year!!
