marina valuations

Post by mileschaff » Sat Nov 15, 2014 12:56 am

been chilling out tonight hen the thought crossed my mind ... what is a marina worth?
like mine for instance ino its not a looker but its a solid with new front wings and good arches etc but rat looking 1900tc tax free with mot untill next year
there seem to be diffrent classes of people some who like a minter for say 1500 and other who would pay the same for the retro looking scene
which gets me back to the question what is the value of a marina these days

There are lots of cars that get offered on EBay etc where the owner thinks that they are worth several thousands. They are the ones that don't sell.

Original cars attract a wider audience and sell for between about £800 and £1500 depending on condition. TCs fetch a premium. A rat look car is only going to be interesting to someone looking for a rat look Marina, so only a small number and they probably already have one.

The cars that break the rules at the moment are the commercial Vans and Pickups, they seem to find more buyers more easily than Saloons, Coupes and Estates.
