Post by The original northen boy » Fri Dec 14, 2007 6:05 pm

A while ago a one of my customers made one of those throw away comments, that are well "throw away" most of the time,"Mi faver ad a Marina" he said "what kind i asked? "a redun"he replied,"gorit neu from Kennings, boretit befoure ie deed bugger-all ont klock hits still int garidge at mi muvers, neva went ay weir inn hit, reiget loked after hit ie did,y oha tha hintressed?"might be i said""way kome ant ave a lok iv va wannts,I arranged to come over the next evening "tou ave a lok" well what would i find i was thinking 1300 deluxe or super with less than 10,000 on the clock in mint condition the next day i went to see the car i was led to an old corrugated sheet garage from the 50's the padlock was removed the doors opened and there it was "a 1975 Austin Maxi" it's not a Marina i said "int tit" no it's not i said "dunt tha onetit ven" not for me i replied' 20 year of a leaking garage roof had took its toll the car had slowly rotted away with only 3000 miles on the clock...a real waste .
